The Calgary Police Commission is holding a special meeting to discuss the response plan for the ongoing protests in the Beltline community.

To allow for a discussion that will include sensitive police operational information, the Commission will be meeting privately with the Calgary Police Service leadership starting at 2:30 p.m.

The Commission and Service will then present any information that can be shared publicly starting at 3:30 p.m. More details are available in the meeting agenda.

While there will not be an opportunity for members of the public to speak at the meeting as it is a special meeting, anyone wishing to provide their input for the Commission prior to the meeting can do so through a written submission.

A recording of the public portion of the meeting will be made available on our meeting documents page on Friday evening.
